No dogs midnight to 6am and 9am to 5pm and 7pm to midnight, all year. Dogs allowed the rest of the time (local leash laws apply)

Tower 16 to north of Sunrise Boulevard. Up to three dogs per person.

City of Fort Lauderdale: the rule in full

Canine Beach runs from lifeguard tower 16 to 100 yards north of Sunrise Boulevard, open 6am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm. Up to three dogs per person. Dogs are not allowed on the rest of the sand.
